DC nights
About two weeks ago I went out the DC convention center for this live art event X in DC. Yes, it sounds like you're saying ecstasy when you're talking to people. Anyways, it turned out that this particular round of the event, it happens once a month, was a bust but it did give me a crash course in navigating the NW section of DC and I discovered M street and the Georgetown area which has a lot of great high end walking shops. So, Joe, the guy who invited me out the event, made it up to me though by having me over to his place and on the way out of DC I took this sweet night pic with the capitol building in the distance. Not a bad souvenir for that night.
Oh yeah and there was this hanging cloud structure installation in the convention center that was kinda neat.

mangatar ^_^
So it's been a while since I've really posted much of anything but I think I'm going to start getting back into it even if I'm just posting snap shots that I happen to take. Well what we have here is me! I've been searching the internet for weeks now trying to find one particular website that lets you makes these anime style avatars of yourself. It's actually really cool and set up pretty similarly to how you make a Mii on the Wii. If you want to make one for yourself, just click here. You'll have to put in an email address to download your pic but if you don't want to do that just take a screen shot of it. That's what I did, but if you do put in an email, the pic you get sent is the exact same resolution as a screen grab, so it's your choice either way :). Enjoy!

wacom will keep you young
So I got this awesome little wacom back on birthday and my friend Keshaun has seriously renewed my interest in it. It's a little guy known as the bamboo fun and this is a little doodle I did using it back when I first got it. The coolest thing about it is, is that the media you use actually layers and acts like your really using paint, colored pencils, crayons etc. Maybe I'll have some more of these pieces show up in later posts. PS, don't grow up and get old.

momma's boy
Two things here I love getting a good fix of every once and a while: electro funk and a touch of digitalism style animation. The song is momma's boy by the group Chromeo.
