how it went

In case you were wondering how things went for soundfest I'll tell you. I know this is a couple of days after the fact, but that's how it goes sometimes. Well, the day went really well. There were six bands and the two largest acts were the RX Bandits and As Tall As Lions (who were great live, probably my favorite of the day). There were old school arcade games brought in to play for free like Donkey Kong, Mrs. Pac Man and pinball, to name a few. There was also free cotton candy for everyone! I ended up making cotton candy for about 3-4 hours and when I was done my hair was the same consistency as the the candy, and from what I was told, rather sparkly. It took two showers to get rid of that.

As for the shirts and banners they went over really well. The bands even told the show manager how much they liked them. In all there ended up being three large 3'x6' banners and I made a handfull of the monster prints on 11x17s for the bands to sign as well. The shirts ended up coming in two different colors. The teal ones were for sale why all the workers got purple shirts with a big staff logo on the back. Everybody loved the shirt, especially since I went with American Apparel brand shirts.
